Wow, if 2026 was a racehorse it would’ve won the Kentucky Derby!

So far this year has been packed with so many fulfilling projects. I’m just starting to adjust to my new normal after a very chaotic 2025 and a major cross-country move. I am so thankful for everyone I’ve met and all of the experiences that I’ve had recently--doors keep opening! Mother’s Day is rapidly approaching so I’m keeping this post brief to emphasize the importance of using photography to capture the moments you’ll cherish for the rest of your life! I encourage everyone to get quality photos of your children, fur kids, parents, family members, or siblings.

This image was taken at an AKC dog sport competition last week. What I like about the moment is the feeling you get—they’re family and are sharing a happy weekend event together. Dogs give us so much joy!
